FACEANDBOOK.ME In the course of their evolutionary career, humans have acquired the 7th sense—wanting to possess innumerable objects—while at the same time developing a concomitant 8th sense: everything must be new all the time. Our planet as a huge trading space for goods of all kinds—it seems everything can be commercialized! Are we to simply sit back and accept this collective madness? No way! I’ll just start some inventory-taking here—because life on our planet really has a lot lot more in store for us than only inconsiderate greed. The essence of life is of another kind. "You know, what they are dumping on the market here is nothing but pieces of cloth. Let´s face it! I am simply taking apart the high-gloss messages into their constituents, every centimeter of them is worth its length in gold—quite innocent—click—let´s see what´s up—click—let´s see what´s up two hundred more times. The big pleasure is a small one, it hurts the click—so what?" FACEANDBOOK.ME—Art Campaign by Kerstin Weichsel, conceptual artist
